The Bristol Fourth of July Committee held its 60th Annual Orange Crate Derby. The Orange Crate Derby was held on Sunday, June 7, 2009 on Bayview Avenue. This year was a record setting year for entries in the derby. Twenty-six boys and girls geared up for a exciting day of racing as the large crowd of spectators watched on. At the end of the day it was 12 year old Macy Mello (pictured above) winning the 60th Orange Crate Derby. Macy wasn't finished though, as she also won the Best Looking Car voted on the Miss and Little Miss Courts.
Second place finisher was 11 year old Trevor King and third place was 9 year old Vincent Berretto.
